New Grounds Maintenance Contract - Old Basing & Lychpit Parish Council

Grounds Maintenance Contractor based within 10 mile radius of Basingstoke required by Old Basing & Lychpit Parish Council to manage the upkeep of the Parish Council's land consisting of two children's play areas and adult exercise equipment, sports and general recreation fields, Cemetery & Garden of Remembrance, Allotments, car parks and National Heritage site in addition to sports pitches including Archery, Bowls, Cricket and Football. The contractor must provide evidence of having prior experience and specialist knowledge of maintenance of a heritage site, bowling greens and cricket pitches and have a proven track record of a high level of customer satisfaction. The contractor must also demonstrate the ability to be responsive and flexible in its approach to tasks and particularly in dealing with those clubs that use the facilities. Works as set out in the Maintenance Schedule to be provided on application will include grass and hedge cutting, maintenance of grass borders, upkeep of the Cemetery, Garden of Remembrance and Allotments and seasonal maintenance and treatment of the sports pitches. Attendance on site for certain sports and other events, which will include weekends, is also required. The contract will be for an initial 5 year period and, subject to satisfactory results, will include an option to extend for a further 2 years. Suitable interested parties will be provided with an Invitation to Tender and Grounds Maintenance Schedule and site maps on application.
