Warehousing services for office furniture and accessories as well as moving, installing and dismantling services in the National Capital Region (NCR)

This requirement is to acquire services from a single vendor to move, dismantle, and install office equipment and furniture, and related goods/services, for Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) on an "as and when requested” basis and to obtain dedicated warehouse space in the National Capital Region (NCR). This procurement is conditionally set aside under the federal government Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business. For more information on Indigenous business requirements of the conditional Set-aside Program for Indigenous Business, refer to Annex 9.4 of the Supply Manual. If applicable, the procurement is open to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses. However, if two (2) or more Indigenous businesses submit a bid, then the procurement is set aside under PSIB (only the Indigenous businesses who submitted a bid would be evaluated). Description of the Requirement: The Contractor must carry out the following services, to move, dismantle, and install office equipment and furniture, and related goods/services, for Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) / Service Canada (SC) on an "as and when requested” basis and to obtain dedicated warehouse space in the National Capital Region (NCR). The anticipated duration of the resulting contract is one year (1) year, with an option to renew yearly for a maximum of two (2) additional consecutive years under the same conditions. The scope of work is divided into two (2) streams: Stream 1 consists of moving, dismantling, and installation services, while Stream 2 consists of warehousing services. Security Requirements: There are security requirements associated with this solicitation. 1. The Contractor must, at all times during the performance of the Contract, hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Contract Security Program (CSP), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). 2. The Contractor personnel requiring access to sensitive site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by the CSP, PWGSC. 3. Subcontracts which contain security requirements are NOT to be awarded without the prior written permission of the CSP, PWGSC. 4. The Contractor must comply with the provisions of the: a) Security Requirements Check List and Supplemental Security and Classification Guide (if applicable), attached at Annex E; b) Contract Security Manual (Latest Edition).
