This solicitation has been Amended to change the response deadline and date of the site visit. See below for information. 27 SOSS requires the acquisition of fabric canopy covers for the SERE training to be used in the outdoor all-season parachuting laboratory. See attached salient characteristics for more details. A site visit for this requirement will be held at Cannon AFB on Monday, 28 September at 1:00PM MDT. See attached Combo for location. You can reach out to the CO, SrA Jeffery Reagan for access to base the day of the event at 575-784-1359 or jeffery.reagan.2@us.af.mil. Please let us know if you plan to attend the site visit by COB Friday 25 September 2026 4:30PM MDT. NOTICE: The purpose of this site visit is to take measurements of the structure to determine the size of canopy we will need. Please plan to bring neccessary equipment to take a measurement if you so desire, the government will not be furnishing any lift equipment and any equipment you bring you will bare the cost of its transportation and use. IN ADDITION: We are providing the coordinates of the structure here as they can pull up the location on google maps to give vendors an idea of what the structure looks like ahead of time. Coordinates are as follows: 34.3937 degrees North, 103.32038 degrees West. The image on google maps shows the structure 2 years ago when it still had a cover, since then it has been torn away by storm damage.
