The NAICS code is 236220 for Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. This announcement is for the selection and award of one or more Contracts that will support construction needs in our facilities for the Washington, DC Metropolitan area and surrounding facilities such as the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute in Front Royal, VA and the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center, Edgewater, MD. REQUEST FOR CLARIFICATIONS It is desired that all questions/clarifications be sent in, sequentially numbered for example first questions 1,2,3, second set of questions 4,5,6, etc. in word format to ColemanSI@si.edu It is requested that all questions be sent in no later than September 15, 2026, at 3PM EST.
