THE COOPERATIVE REPUBLIC OF GUYANA MINISTRY OF EDUCATION GUYANA STRENGTHENING HUMAN CAPITAL THROUGH EDUCATION PROJECT (HCP) Request for Quotations Goods (One-Envelope Bidding Process) Country: The Cooperative Republic of Guyana Name of Project: Guyana Strengthening Human Capital Through Education Project (HCP) CREDIT NO.: P177741 Contract Title: Procurement for the Supply & Delivery of Calculators Project Reference No: GY-MOE-566091-GO-RFQ The Cooperative Republic of Guyana has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Guyana Strengthening Human Capital Through Education (HCP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Supply & Delivery of Calculators. The Ministry of Education now invites seal quotes from eligible bidders for Supply & Delivery of Calculators. The delivery period is expected to be thirty-one (31) days from contract signature. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Quotation (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Project Financing Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, Seventh Edition September 2025. (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. The bidding document in English may be obtained by interested bidders upon the submission of written letter via e-mail to hcp.procurement@moe.gov.gy . Bidders are required to indicate business name, an e-mail address, and contact person in their letter, where the bidding package can be sent to the bidders. Quote must be delivered to the address below on or before 09:00hrs on Thursday October 01, 2026 . Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late quotes will be rejected. Quotes will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders, representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below before 09:00hrs on Thursday October 01, 2026. The outer quote envelopes marked “ORIGINAL QUOTE”, will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below. All quotes must be accompanied with Complete and Sign Bid Declaration Form In accordance with the Amended Procurement Act dated June 12, 2019, all bidders must be registered as a bidder in the bidder’s registers to participate in procurement proceedings.
