Derry City and Strabane District Council (DCSDC) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced mural artists to deliver an Artist in Residence project in Strabane. The project is supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and the Strabane Public Realm project. The residency will support development of the Strabane UK Town of Culture bid through community engagement and the creation of mural artwork reflecting local identity, place-making and civic pride. It will complement the wider programme of stakeholder engagement now underway to shape the bid, develop cultural programming and identify potential legacy projects.
