Sources Sought Notice SPRDL1-26-R-A057 Item Name: Winch, Drum, Vehicle NSN: 2590-01-592-5927 Part No: (75096) 51882-004 Base Quantity: 16 EA Option Quantity: up to 16 EA End Item: Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET) The Government does not have rights to the Technical Data Package (TDP) or specifications. With the winch, the HET can recover itself when immobilized due to terrain, move other vehicles, or assist in recovering non-mission capable tactical and combat equipment. The winch accomplishes these actions by using a motor that turns a spindle from which the drum assembly is attached. The drum, in turn, either winds or unwinds a cable which is attached to a fixed point. Please note the following: *This notice is not an open solicitation i.e., Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP). *Qualification testing and evaluation are required to become an approved source. *Source approval does not guarantee business. *Qualifying as an approved source only provides the opportunity to compete on future solicitations.
