This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Offeror shall provide inspection, scheduled maintenance, and system repair to the backup diesel generator system for Johnston Ridge Observatory (JRO) located in Toutle, WA. The backup diesel generator is a Simpower Generator Systems 1000KW, 1250KVA system that has a Mitsubishi engine and a MagnaMax Synchronous AC Generator. Unit Model: SP1000D3PS12N-PTA2 Serial Number: 8855 Mitsubishi Model: S12N-PTA2 Serial Number: 20919 MagnaMax Synchronous AC Generator Model: 741RSL20648B Serial Number: XL 3835609 3 Phase 60Hz Continuous 975KW, 277/480V, 1219kVA, 1466Amp JRO address for this work is: 21000 Spirit Lake Highway, Toutle, WA 98649. Solicitation number 1240BD27Q0009 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors. The small business size standard 22 Million. The Service code is J061Maint/repair/rebuild of equipment- electric wire and power distribution equipment. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract.
