This is a solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12. Acquisition of Commercial Products and Services, and FAR 16 Types of Contracts, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) intends to establish a requirements-type contract on a sole-source basis with Allied Systems Company, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The solicitation number 70Z08526R3D035B00 is issued as request for quote (RFQ) for an Open Inspect-Repair service acquisition requirement supporting the United States Coast Guard owned Allied Dual Point Davits.
