The successful contractor will work closely with the Town Council to promote the town, support local businesses, increase visitor numbers, and deliver a small programme of community events and marketing activities. The contract is intended to provide a proactive, creative and community-focused service that enhances the town's profile, increases visitor numbers and supports economic growth. ________________________________________ The appointed consultant will: • Promote the town as a destination for shopping, leisure and tourism. • Support and engage local businesses. • Deliver community events that increase footfall. • Develop engaging marketing content across digital platforms. • Maintain an up-to-date programme of town news and events on the Make it Market Drayton Website, supported by Town Council Admin. • Work collaboratively with the Town Council and Shropshire Council's Economic Development Team and Visit Shropshire.
