Media conversion of archives

Wat de aanbestedende dienst vraagt

The contracting authority shall carry out a media conversion of approx. 270 shelf metres (sm) with paper archive, as well as memory units and CDs. The paper archive shall be organised, listed and media converted. The memory units and CDs shall be archived on the same basis as the paper archive. The objective of the media conversion of the physical archive is to replace the paper originals with a fully fledged digital version, so that the paper originals can be destroyed after the quality control of the new digital original has been implemented. The archives shall be available in digital format to Oslo Byarkiv in accordance with the requirements set by the City Archive, including preservation and barracks rules as they are in Oslo municipality ́s preservation and barracks plan (OKA).
