Page 4 of 4 Page 4 of 4 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) is searching for contractors with the capabilities to provide instrument sharpening and repair services at William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital (MVH) located in Madison, WI. Contractor shall provide services that include, but are not limited to, sharpening, adjusting, aligning, straightening, refurbishing, calibrating, cleaning, extensive stain removal, polishing, lubricating, adjusting, laser etching, and replacing parts of various individual surgical instruments sets and operating room (OR) procedural instrument trays. Instruments will be provided individually or as components of a specialty tray. All instruments shall be maintained in proper operating conditions as specified by the original manufacturer. Instruments are to be retrieved from and delivered to the Sterile Processing Service (SPS), located William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, Madison WI, 53705. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811210. All interested, responsible sources must submit a capability statement by Monday, October 5, 2026 to jerri.schuster@va.gov. This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes to determine availability of qualified contractors and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly.
