Repair and Overhaul of Fixed Fire Containers (ACAN) The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the following: Repair and Overhaul (R&O), requalification, recharging, testing, and continuous engineering support services for Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) aircraft and tracked vehicle fixed fire containers, cylinders, and components The inventory comprises distinct stock codes which are grouped into four primary technical categories: Aircraft Fire Extinguishers and Assemblies, Fixed Fire Containers and Spherical Tanks, Pneumatic Accumulators and Compressed Gas Cylinders, and specialized Brake Control Valves and Technical Halon Agents. Detailed requirements are specified in Annex A. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
