Nuclear Regulatory Framework Review – Writer

What the buyer is asking for

The objective is to engage the services of a writer, ideally someone with familiarity of Canada’s nuclear regulatory framework, to write and revise a number of discussion papers (likely between 5 and 7) and a What We Heard Report. The target audience for the documents is the public, as they will be published, requiring that the discussion papers and report be clear, concise, and capture the appropriate details. The discussion papers will be informed by Natural Resources Canada's (NRCan) initial engagement and policy development and will present potential options for changes to the nuclear regulatory framework to elicit feedback and suggestions through written submissions and engagement sessions. The What We Heard Report will summarize the feedback and suggestions received on the discussion papers, using material obtained from NRCan’s engagement activities. The writer will be required to attend videoconferences/meetings with NRCan officials for planning, organizing and feedback purposes.
