Consultant Support in relation to Peak Cluster NSIP

What the buyer is asking for

The Peak District National Park Authority ("PDNPA") is seeking multidisciplinary consultancy support to assist in its role as statutory consultee in regards the Peak Cluster Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project ("NSIP") and a Development Consent Order ("DCO") for the Peak Cluster Carbon Capture and Storage Pipeline under the Planning Act 2008 ("the Application") to be submitted by Peak Cluster Ltd ("the Applicant"). Support is required in the areas of project management, co-ordination and administration as well as in the specialist areas of infrastructure planning, landscape, cultural heritage, archaeology and ecology ("the Services"). The PDNPA is seeking a consultancy with previous experience of the entire NSIP/DCO process. PDNPA expects to enter into a Planning Performance Agreement ("PPA") with Peak Cluster Ltd and the support is required in relation to PDNPA's obligations under the PPA for the entire DCO process. Funding under the PPA will only be guaranteed up to a cap for the Pre-Application Stage of the Application, and the consultancy contract will be conditional insofar as it relates to any requirements beyond the Pre-Application Stage or the cap, conditional on a variation of the PPA being agreed with Peak Cluster Ltd.
