What the buyer is asking for

This synopsis is provided in accordance with FAR Part 5.203(a) in response to the mandatory 15-day notice before issuance of a solicitation. This is NOT a request for proposals (RFP), a request for quotes (RFQ), or an invitation for bids (IFB). The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to request industry comments on a Region 2 Heavy Equipment Maintenance and Repair 10-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), R2 (Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas), or on a 150-miles of where the vehicle is physically located. The proposed multiple-award BPA will be for businesses of all sizes under NAICS 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) repair, with a size standard of $12.5M. At the time of the solicitation, interested vendors may submit their interest. See the attached Statement of Work.
