What the buyer is asking for

****SEE ATTACHED SOLICITATION FOR SPECFIC DETAILS**** The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), on behalf of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), requires the acquisition of commercial hardware consisting of one (1) new Maptek SR3-CL Stationary LiDAR Scanner System and one (1) new Maptek NS4 Stationary LiDAR Scanner System, complete with field controllers, vehicle mounts, underground lighting kits, transit cases, and associated accessories in accordance with Section C (Statement of Work). This acquisition is being conducted as a commercial product procurement under FAR Part 12. In accordance with FAR 12.102 and FAR 6.103-1 (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements), the Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a sole-source basis to Maptek Inc. dba KRJA Systems, Inc. A formal Sole Source Justification has been approved. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
