2-Piece Flight Duty Uniforms (2PFDUs)

What the buyer is asking for

The 52d Civil Engineering Squadron, Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) Flight requires the procurement of 2-Piece Flight Duty Uniforms (2PFDUs) in the Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP). Please see find Attachment 1 - List of Materials for a full list. The required uniforms must be constructed of smooth flame-resistant Nomex fabric and non-Ripstop material. Smooth fabric refers to a uniform fabric construction that does not incorporate the reinforced grid or crosshatch weave characteristic of ripstop material. Ripstop fabric contains thicker reinforcement threads woven into the material, creating a visible or textured square or rectangular grid pattern. The Government requires fabric without these reinforced grid patterns to maintain material consistency with the Fire Department's existing inventory. Ripstop fabric is not acceptable. All other technical requirements identified in the solicitation and attached List of Materials remain unchanged.
