What the buyer is asking for

The Government is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of 1,000 tons of road salt to be delivered to Scott Air Force Base, IL. Delivery Requirements: Due to overhead height restrictions at the storage facility, all deliveries must be made using tandem axle dump trucks. All items/salt must be delivered no later than October 23, 2026. Set-Aside Information: This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS Code: 325998 (All Other Miscellaneous Chemical Product and Preparation Manufacturing) Product Service Code (PSC): 6810 (Chemicals) Submission Instructions: To submit a quote for this requirement, please review the attached RFQ document. Ensure all requested information is provided according to the instructions within the attachment. Failure to submit a complete quote by the closing date and time will result in your company not being considered for award. Submission shall be sent to both POCs identified in this notice. This is a FY27 requirement and funds are not presently available. No award will be made until funds are made available on or around 1 October.
