Amendment 0004 - Eaker Center Electrical Outlets RFQ

What the buyer is asking for

This project involves the installation of new electrical outlets in eight (8) locations. Rooms 125, 128, 140, Seminar Rooms 1-4 and the open area next to Room 125 in building G832. The purpose of these outlets is to support instructional activities by providing reliable power sources for classroom electronics, including laptops, projectors, document cameras, and other teaching equipment. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% Total Small Business set-aside and made available on the System for Award Management (SAM) website at https://sam.gov. Please, note that this requirement will be limited to Small Businesses within a 250 mile radius of the work performance location, and potential offerors will be required to respond to the attached statement of work (SOW). There will be no amount charged for solicitation documents and respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to official solicitation. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The resultant contract shall be resultant of the Total Small Business Set-Aside Socioeconomic Program. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000 IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 – Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects. The applicable wage rate for this project is Davis-Bacon Act WD# AL20260093 (BUILDING). See Attachment 8. Quotes are due 25 Sep 2026 at 12:00PM CST.
