What the buyer is asking for
INTRODUCTION Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab or FNAL), managed and operated by Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC (FFDG) under a prime contract with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), is seeking to subcontract for work aligned with its mission objectives. The Proton Improvement Plan II (PIP-II) project is an essential upgrade to Fermilabs accelerator complex that will support the worlds most intense high-energy neutrino beam for the international Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment at LBNF, as well as a broad physics program for decades to come. In support of PIP-II, FNAL requires the procurement, assembly, testing, documentation, and delivery of SSRs and LB650 Vacuum Gauge and Readout and associated components in accordance with the requirements specified in Exhibit C PIP-II SSRs and LB650 Vacuum Gauge and Readout Procurement Specification.
