Solicitation Amendment #1 This solicitation is being reopened because the Government is currently unable to determine price reasonableness based on the initial submissions. To ensure fair competition and allow the Government to establish a fair and reasonable price, the solicitation window is officially reopened. Additionally, the Statement of Work (SOW) has been updated to incorporate a revised Period of Performance (POP). All interested vendors, including previous offerors and new respondents, are invited to re-evaluate their proposal and submit a revised quotation. PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT This amendment is issued to: Reopen the Solicitation Submission Window: Extend the submission window to allow all interested vendors the opportunity to review, re-evaluate, and resubmit their quotations. Request Revised Quotations: Invite all vendors to submit revised pricing and technical quotations based on the updated SOW. Incorporate Revised POP: Formally incorporate the updated POP into the SOW. 1. REQUEST FOR REVISED QUOTATIONS Because price reasonableness could not be determined from the initial quotes received, the Government is encouraging offerors to re-evaluate their pricing to ensure their submissions represent competitive, fair, and reasonable terms. This is your opportunity to revise your pricing and/or technical approach, failure to submit a Revised Quotation may result in the Government's inability to determine the vendor's price to be fair and reasonable. The new closing date for this solicitation is Friday, September 25th, 2026, 10:00AM EST. Proposals must be received by this deadline to be considered. 2. UPDATED SOW: The Statement of Work (SOW) has been updated to reflect the Government's revised operational schedule. Offerors must ensure their revised quotations align with the revised POP detailed in the updated SOW: Revised POP Start Date: 28 September 2026 Revised POP End Date: 21 October 2026 3.. This requirement is of an unusual and compelling urgency in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The services are necessary to complete essential repairs to return vessel to full mission capability and therefore ensure mission readiness. Delay in award would result in unacceptable risk to government operations. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice.
