36C24826Q1270 Biofeedback Training Amendment No. 1 Solicitation/RFQ 36C24826Q1270 This amendment is hereby issued to provide responses to questions and requests for information submitted by potential vendors. All offers submitted in response to this RFQ and any associated communications/documentation shall be submitted in the English language, which is the official business language of the Federal Government and its agencies. Offer Submittal due date remains unchanged All other areas of solicitation remain unchanged. Response to Vendors Questions and Requests for Information Q1. Does the Government expect the contractor s proposed training curriculum to serve as the didactic training mechanism through which the seven participants would become eligible for BCIA Biofeedback certification, or is the requirement only that the contractor s curriculum be generally aligned with BCIA standards? The didactic training is the mechanism through which the seven participants would become eligible for BCIA Biofeedback certification. Q2. Regarding HeartMath certification, does the Government intend for the awarded contractor to include the registration and certification fees for all seven clinicians in its quoted price, with the clinicians completing the official HeartMath Coherence Advantage certification program? Yes, the registration and certification fees are to be included in the quote. Q3. Alternatively, have the seven clinicians already been registered for the HeartMath Coherence Advantage certification program outside of this solicitation, with the contractor expected to provide supplemental instruction, facilitation, mentoring, or other curriculum support toward completion of that certification? No. Q4. Upon successful completion of the HeartMath certification requirement, does the Government intend for the seven clinicians to function as organizational/internal trainers within VA, or as independent trainers under the HeartMath certification structure? No. Q5. Have any of the seven clinicians previously completed HeartMath certification training, prior HeartMath coursework, or training with the HeartMath technology/products referenced in the Coherence Advantage certification application? No. Q6. We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services. If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number? This is a new procurement for a one-time service. Q7. Could you please confirm if this date is correct and if there have been any updates or amendments that may not have been posted yet? Yes, the date is correct. This is the only amendment associated with this RFQ at the time. All Amendments are posted on SAM.gov under the RFQ.
