What the buyer is asking for

Research Ireland seeks to undertake an independent evaluation of the economic, innovation, human capital, research capability and wider societal impacts arising from Research Ireland investments in research and innovation. The evaluation should identify and assess the pathways through which impact is generated, determine what evidence exists for these impacts, examine additionality and contribution where feasible, and provide strategic insights to inform future implementation of Research Ireland's strategy and investment portfolio. The evaluation should consider Research Ireland's role within the wider Irish research and innovation ecosystem and examine how its investments interact with those of other public funders and institutions.
